The honeycombs can have air grooves. The word “eye” means the size of the inscribed circle in the cells. The honeycomb width is reduced by about 20-25 % after extension, according to the eye size and the extension strength.
If you use the honeycomb in a ready frame, you must use a 0,3-0,5 mm higher honeycomb than the height of the basic frame.
